MDS ... a big update is coming ....

Stampin' Up is bringing out a new upgrade August 1st. (YAY) AND there will be a great SALE on MDS products in August too. You don't want to miss out. If you haven't tried MDS yet you are missing out on the best digital scrapbooking program around. Look at a few things I've whipped up lately ....

My friend Patti is gonna be a grandma soon. I told her we should do an activity at the shower and create an album for her daughter. This will be a hybrid album since I did a couple pages in MDS ... I'll be busy helping during the shower - no time for me to make pages .... so here are baby Samuel's first two digital pages.

While Patti and I were planning the album for her daughter, little did she know that her children were planning a surprise 30th wedding anniversary for their parents! So I took a Stampin' Up! 8x8 photo album and covered it in fabric for her ... and did a front page for her too.

The party was awesome - they were really surprised. So then I asked for a family picture and created this page for the back of her book ....
She is an English teacher and wrote a wonderful thank you letter to everyone. I asked for the letter and created pages to feature the letter. She mentions everyone! It was awesome.
See what you are missing if you aren't using MDS????? Sign up today for a free 30 day trial! Check out my website for more details.

Oh my it's JULY!!!

My oh my .. .where has the time gone??? May came and went, June flew by and July is on the way out and I have not posted at all this month????? What is wrong with me??? Busy? Yup ... you got it - like we all are! The girls both came home in May ... and in no time Cait was back in Baltimore - two weeks are toooo short. She had a great time at home though. Hit that beach just about every day.Kerry (and Ryan) are both home from college for the summer. And Kerry is working hard on making hand sanitizers and cutting potholder pieces for me .... (actually, both girls were cutting potholder pieces) Now I have to sew them all!!!

Here's some cards from June .... Kerry needed a first birthday card and I had just seen Norine do a cute card with a gift card pocket attached ... changed it up a bit and here's the result ....

This was the original - used this for my June new catalog make n take ...

Here are the cards from June's Stamp a Stack class .....

And FINALLY ... a year later I finished the two gigantic quilts that were ordered. They were created from aloha shirts and muumuus ... talk about a memory quilt!!

Her two sons are over 6 feet tall ... and the quilts will cover them and then some.
Enjoy!
