Potholder assembly

Hello friends,
Can you believe January is almost over? I have no idea where the time is going ... it's just flying by. I thought I'd let you take a peek at where the potholders get assembled ....

My favorite workhorse sewing machine, my Pfaff. I love it.

Cords and cords and cords waiting to be cut!

I miss my elves ... they were such great helpers ...

See? There's a whole bunch of potholders in the works .... about 45 will done in soon! Can't wait to get started on some pillows and pillowcases!
Happy crafting ....

Welcome 2012!

2012 will be a great year! (Hopefully everyone feels the same!!) .... the end of 2011 was a whirlwind and then some ... the POTHOLDER frenzy was something to behold. Many of you have heard bits and pieces. Just thought I'd get back into my first love (fabric) and make a few things to sell at the craft fairs. And boy, sell I did. Between Oct and Dec I ended up sewing about 175 potholders, plus all the other things I had to sell at the fairs. It was chaotic and a lot of fun. Needless to say, that spawned numerous resolutions for 2012 - beginning with start sewing NOW!! And maybe update the blog more often??? Here's a few pictures ... in case you missed seeing things ....

Thank goodness my elves came home just in time to help with restocking and getting ready for this year. Kerry and Ryan have been cutting potholder guts and guts and more guts. They have been busy. We will have so many new fabrics for you to chose from!! And I'll have lots to work on when they go back to college.

I did manage to have a Stamp a Stack at the beginning of January - here are the cards we made.

And in case you missed us at the craft fairs, here's a couple pictures ...

Happy New Year! Hope to see you soon!
