Open House and Swap Challenge

We will be celebrating a NEW Mini Occassions Catalog with a FUN open house. It will be at Windward Estates on Emepela Place (rec center at the brown townhouses between Heeia School and Kahekili Hwy) Join us any time between 11 and 3 for FREE make-n-takes, retired stamp sale, a bit of stuff to munch on, DOOR PRIZES galore and specials for orders placed that day.

SWAP CHALLENGE
So, you have some stamps (or LOTS of stamps), you have some paper, buttons, brads and such .... you even bought a Big Shot. But sometimes you wonder why? Did you create something this month?

How about joining our swap group? Gives you a reason to stamp every month - create a card or 3D item and get back 8 or so (depends on how many swappers we have) ... sound interesting? It is. It is FUN. And most importantly, everyone is welcome ... beginner or advanced!!

Here are the guidelines (based on having 8 swappers):

• Each person makes 8 of the same card
• Fronts only are fine (8-1/2x11 paper cut in quarters) does not need to be a full card
• Use current Stampin Up product
• Name of the creator should be stamped or written on the back
• It is up to you how you interpret the theme
• Committment is for 6 months (talk to me if this becomes an issue)
• Swaps are due at the end of each month. Swaps will be distributed the following month - this willl allow every one to turn in their swaps and allows me time to swap them (so January's swaps will be given to you in February when you are turning in February's swaps)
• Swaps can be mailed - just send a SASE - if you are not in our area email me and we can work out a plan - the more the merrier!
• Turn in swaps in a zip lock type bag with your name written on it - I will return them in the same bag
• Themes will be announced quarterly

The 2010 first quarter's themes are:

January - DSP .... use designer series paper on your card
February - Buttons and Bows - use an embellishment on your card
March - Masculine - design a card suitable for a man
