Cards from Spring Buffet ...

Hi Stampers!
Have you been waiting for the cards from the Spring Buffet? Had to put that on hold while we visited colleges. It's pretty tiring driving to places unknown (thank goodness for GPS systems) then finding the right place to park then walking for an hour or longer (while freezing). The weather in Oregon has been very nice - almost no rain, sunny days but cold .... walking around campuses in the high thirties, low forties is COLD.

Here are the cards and boxes we did at the Spring Buffet. We had a really wonderful day of crafting.

This is one of the boxes everyone made and then could put 10 cards and envelopes inside.

And this is the second box everyone made ... it holds 10 cards as well

Here's a treat for you ... I will be doing a mini scrapbook at Shirokiya ... here's a jazzed up version of the scrapbook. I sent this one in to Stampin' Up for a contest they had - you were limited to using 4 products to made your item for the contest, not counting different colors. This is what I submitted.

Spring Buffet ... see what you missed

Hi stampers!
Right now as I write this, I am sitting in terminal A of the Portland airport waiting on a flight to Spokane. Kerry doesn't like to fly and feels sick so she's curled up in a chair trying to sleep. We left Honolulu at 11:15 last night. My clock (still on Hawaii time) says it is 6:00. But it will be a day before you see this ... that's kinda how the blog posts ... it goes out about a day later.

Anyway, for those of you who MISSED the Spring Buffet we'll share the pictures. Stay tuned for our next special event .. sometime in June - it will be a carousel of cards.

Didn't everyone look HAPPY???? They sure were. Photos of the projects will follow. Stay tuned!

February's Cards

Hi Stampers!
Just thought I'd share what my Feb class cards looked like ...

My favorite is the medallion card ... it's done on natural paper with chocolate chip and pretty in pink. Brown and pink are always winners!

Kerry and I are off to visit relatives and colleges on Thursday - I have lots of pictures and stuff on my computer to update. I'm hoping I'll have time while we're gone to do some blog updating ... 

Here's a little secret - Stampin Up has some awesomely cute things coming SOON. Yeah, I know, that's not a secret ... it's always the case ... .stay tuned - there are some cool specials coming up in the near future tooooooo!
