Going Back in Time ...

Hi everyone!
Thanksgiving in gone ... it was a nice day with family ... but now, back to work on my fun job - Stampin! Here's some pictures for you .... from various places/ideas including my October class and a few holiday card ideas!

Here's a cute way to use Decor Elements ... on your laptop! Everyone comments how cute my computer is!

My new downline member, Leina'ala works with preschool chidlren and wanted some ideas for Halloween for the children .... I used the Twick or Tweat stamp set to come up with a few things for her ....

The topnote is always a popular choice .... and the matchbox too!

Randi and I did a mini craft fair at the Marine Base on a Monday night earlier this month ... here's our booth (and yes, I forgot my Stampin' Up Banner! next time!)

Here's October's class cards ... thank you, Thanksgiving (but can be generic) and two Christmas cards. My favorite is the white Christmas wishes ....

One card, two looks with a different designer paper in the background.

This is my favorite one this month. Done with the Christmas Wishes stamp set and the Petals A Plenty embossing folder. Simple yet elegant.

It was a busy couple months ... I also did a few cards for my friend Teri who sells Avon. She was looking for business related cards/gift items:

Here's a little matchbox thank you gift

Here's a scallop gift card holder/ornament that doubles as a wish list/call me advertising tool

And a basic thank you for your order card ... we all need these ....

These business items feature the Taking Care of Business stamp set

Hope you're having a nice holiday weekend!

November Classes

Here are pictures from November's class ... with many thanks for the ideas .. the ornament card was cased from a swap from Founder's Circle (Angela McKay) and the wreath came from Stampin' Up! The wreath demonstrates the amazing things you can do with a single stamp set.

This card features the Vintage Ornament Stencils. Check them out in the Decor Elements brochure on page 29. Only $14.95 per set. I also LOVE the nontraditional colors that are being used - Rich Razzleberry, Bermuda Bay and Soft Suede. Such a beautiful combination.

This beautiful wreath card features the Autumn Days stamp set ... yes, the one with the pheasant - from the Idea Book & Catalog page 92 ($23.95). We used the pinecone stamp from this set for the gum holder at the Stamp-A-Gift Faire. And you could even use this for fall cards or "masculine" birthday / thinking of you cards. Come check out the Castle HS craft fair on Dec 6 - I will be demonstrating how to make this wreath ... it is sooooooo easy and yet so striking.

And here is my version of  Mr. Turkey featuring our new Sweet Treat cups (Holiday Mini catalog page 7 ($2.95 for 12 cups). He is such a favorite and would be a big hit at your Thanksgiving gathering.

This is the holiday scrapbook album we made, compliments of Francine. Francine's pretty butterfly album adpated so well to a snowflake theme. And the Merry Moments Designer Series (9.95 - Idead Book and Catalog page 160) paper adds a lot of snowflakes in various colors and sizes!!

Wish you could have come to class and made these great projects? Email me to sign up for January's class ... and if you can't make it to class, take out kits are available - as long as you ask for one at least 3 days prior to class! Hope to see you in class soon.

And it was Buster's birthday on November 23 - he's a year old and such a handsome boy ....
